2. Services Description

Covered Vault provides professional home digital services including but not limited to:

  • Smart home installation and configuration
  • Network and Wi-Fi optimization
  • Digital device integration
  • Home security system installation
  • Data backup and cloud solutions
  • Digital media management
  • Technical support and troubleshooting
  • Home office setup and optimization

3. Service Agreement

When you engage our services, a separate service agreement will be executed that details the specific scope of work, pricing, timeline, and deliverables. These Terms supplement and do not replace the service agreement.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

  • A deposit may be required before work begins
  • Final payment is due upon completion of services
  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
  • Late payments may incur additional fees
  • All prices are subject to applicable taxes

5. Warranties and Guarantees

We provide the following warranties:

  • 90-day warranty on all installation work
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to all equipment
  • We guarantee professional workmanship
  • Defective work will be corrected at no charge

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Covered Vault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, incurred by you or any third party, whether in an action in contract or tort, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your requirements
  • Ensure safe access to work areas
  • Provide necessary utilities (power, internet) during service
  • Be present or designate an authorized representative during service
  • Follow all safety instructions provided by our technicians

8. Cancellation Policy

Service appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee. Emergency services are non-refundable once technician dispatch has occurred.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Covered Vault and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

11. Third-Party Products and Services

We may recommend or install third-party products and services. We are not responsible for the performance, warranty, or support of third-party products. Separate terms and conditions may apply to third-party products and services.

12. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or government regulations.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of California.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

15. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
